Shara Karasic is a digital strategist, startup advisor, world traveler, language learner, and tech product manager focused on building technology that connects people across cultures. She brings a storyteller’s perspective to social media and product design: understanding people, connecting with empathy, shaping a clear narrative, and creating experiences that make people want to participate. Her creative practice spans user experience from an ethnographic point of view, front-end development, design, video, audio, and writing. Shara also helps nonprofits adopt AI through practical workshops, custom curriculum, strategic implementation, knowledge management systems, and enterprise deployments. Shara studies Chinese (Mandarin) and Indonesian, and smatterings of other languages, and is an avid reader and lap swimmer. Shara is drawn to opportunities to help people connect, learn, create, and build new futures—together.
